Patterns are given without seam allowances.

The original model of the Snow Maiden's coat has a fitted silhouette. The details of the shelf and back are flared towards the bottom and add splendor. A neat stand-up collar fits perfectly with this model and perfectly replaces a scarf. If desired, decorative trim on the sleeves, collar and sides can be done in different shades in combination with the main fabric. Depending on the texture of the fabric, the model can be made with lining, insulation or without it.

Pattern measurements Selected sizes:

Difficulty: medium

Cut:
. the central part of the back - 1 child with a fold;
. the central part of the front with a one-piece edging - 2 children;
. front side - 2 children;
. back flank - 2 children;
. front part of the sleeve - 2 parts;
. back of the sleeve - 2 pieces;
. collar - 2 folded;
. back neck facing - 1 piece with fold.
Non-woven parts:
. back neck facing - 1 piece with fold;
. collar - 2 folded.
When cutting parts, it is necessary to leave allowances for seams and cuts - 1.5 cm, for hems of the bottom and sleeves - 4 cm. You also need to make appropriate markings on the parts for correct alignment.
If the model will have a lining, then cut out the lining details with allowances for seams and hem of the bottom - 1.5 cm.
Stages of work:
1. Iron the interlining to the details of the back neckline, and also glue the details of the collar and hem.
2. Fold the side of the front right side to the front side of the central part of the front and sew relief seams.
3. Iron the sections to the middle of the front part and process them using an overlocker, if the model is without lining.
4. Fold the side of the back and the central part of the back with the right sides inward and sew the seams. Iron the cuts onto the back and finish.
5. Sew side and shoulder seams. Iron the sections onto the central part of the back.
6. Sew the stand-up collar cleanly along the short front and top edges. Taking the open lower sections together, sew the collar into the neck from the reference mark.
7. Turn the one-piece selvedges right side out, stitch the back neck facing to the selvedges with the right side facing inward.
8. Sew the hems and facings to the neckline, grabbing the collar. Cut seam allowances close to the stitching, turn the hems and facings to the wrong side. Iron the edges of the sides. Sew the hem to the hem of the bottom.
9. If desired, the sides, collar and bottom of the coat can be trimmed with decorative fabric.
10. Fold the front and back parts of the sleeve with the right sides inward and sew the seams. Iron the hem allowances at the bottom of the sleeves to the wrong side and sew them on by hand or process them together with decorative trim.
11. Sew the sleeves into the armholes, slightly fitting along the edges.
12. Assemble the parts from the lining and sew in the sleeves. Sew the lining to the inner edges of the hems and facings, leaving an open area at the bottom for turning the finished product inside out.
13. Fold the lining and hand sew the open area and the bottom of the sleeves to the hem.

For a girl, putting on a Snow Maiden costume is like winning a local beauty contest.

Therefore, the role of the Snow Maiden during the New Year holidays is the most desirable.

In this article we will look at how to cut the Snow Maiden’s fur coat using a ready-made pattern.

True, it's not free.

Cutting and sewing this product will require professional skills.

Options for sewing a fur coat for the Snow Maiden costume

Before moving on to the description of cutting, let’s consider options for making a fur coat, the sketch of which was a New Year’s card.

When choosing the size of a fur coat, keep in mind that the pattern includes an PG of 8 cm.

Since the Snow Maiden costume can be sewn both for work in a warm room and for serving street matinees, the pattern includes sizes from 42 to 62.

That is, a fur coat can be worn over outerwear.

The consumption of “top” fabric at Ø 100 will be up to 4.5 m, so before purchasing it is advisable to make patterns and determine the length of the product.

The consumption of the permanent “lining” (this is permissible for a suit, and sometimes necessary) will be the same as the consumption of the “top” fabric.

And, if the lining is detachable, you can save money. We will look at this issue in detail below.

Of course, the beauty of the Snow Maiden costume depends, first of all, on the quality of the fur.

With the opening of the insulation possible different variants, hence the different costs.

This should also be taken into account before purchasing.

You can sew without insulation at all, insulate only the “top” or only the “lining”.

Perhaps in northern latitudes it would be appropriate to insulate both the “top” and the “lining”.

As for the insulation areas, they may differ from the insulation areas of a regular winter coat.

Let's remember the rules for two-layer batting: we only insulate the lining; the first layer can reach the bottom of the coat, stitching is desirable;

the second layer reaches only to the level of the hips and covers only the outer part of the sleeve, that is, what is under the arm is insulated in only one layer.

Now about the Snow Maiden's fur coat.

Since it is made from dress materials, it is possible to insulate not only the “lining”, but also the “top” of the product.

In this case, preference should be given to thin batting. If you insulate the product to the bottom, the skirt will puff up, but for a carnival costume this is not bad.

The “lining,” if it is also insulated, should be made loose and narrower. It can be insulated either up to the level of the hips or completely, depending on where this suit will be used.

Well, have you decided on an option?

I hope that by the end of the article you will decide.

Sets of fur coat patterns in the Snow Maiden costume

Now let’s look at what is included in the set of patterns (Fig. 1) and see how it can be laid out for a “maxi” (Fig. 2), that is, if the length of your fur coat is 100 cm.

I remind couturiers-payers that it is better to make the selection one-piece in order to save time and fabric.

It is advisable to duplicate the hem immediately to protect it from stretching. The fractional direction for the lower collar can be conventionally called “all cuts along the bias.”

Dubbing, cut according to the pattern without seam allowances, is also desirable. The remaining parts of the “top” do not need dubbing.

Most seam allowances are 1 cm. The exception, as usual, is the edge, sprout, neckline and armhole sections - they are cut beyond the outline line of the patterns. And along the bottom - add 3 - 3.5 cm.

Batting, if provided, is cut out according to the cut details without allowance at the bottom and without a one-piece hem.

All other allowances are the same. They can be cut off after the “top” is assembled and the seams are pressed.

Before cutting out the lining, if it is detachable, the patterns should be narrowed from the level of the hips, bending the extensions (Fig. 3).

The side also bends along the half-skid line, that is, the “middle part of the shelf” part loses 4 cm in width.

As you can see, the consumption of the narrowed “lining” was reduced to 2 product lengths (Fig. 4).

The seam allowances are the same as for the “top”, but at the bottom the allowance can be increased to 5 cm.

If you are insulating the lining, then both synthetic winterizer and batting are suitable as insulation.

In any case, we cut out exactly according to the cut details (NOT according to the patterns!), but we cut off the allowance at the bottom.

Fur trimming (Fig. 5) can be done both according to patterns and according to the assembled product.

It is important to observe the direction of the fur: the edge of the sleeve, the bottom and the placket - from top to bottom; a collar made of short fur and fur with medium-length pile - from bottom to top, from fur with long pile - from top to bottom.

The direction is also indicated by dark arrows in Fig. 5.

The width of the finished strip should be 8 cm for the product to look symmetrical.

Depending on the finishing method, you must decide whether you need seam allowances.

Pay attention to the top cut of the strap: we will trim it to fit the shape of the neckline before sewing in the collar.

Allowances of 1 will definitely be needed for the fur cuff and for connecting the fur parts.

The top collar, in addition to seam allowances of 1 cm, must have a fit allowance of 1 cm.

We've sorted out the peculiarities of cutting a fur coat for the Snow Maiden.

So, there is only one question left: how to sew the Snow Maiden’s fur coat?

Patterns for New Year's costumes

Father Frost comes to us with his granddaughter, Snegurochka. Even if they don’t enter the house, they will certainly appear on TV screens. Or even someone in the family or one of your acquaintances will decide to dress up for the carnival in a Snow Maiden costume. Many representatives of the fair sex like it. After all, a girl or even a mature lady who wears a Snow Maiden costume looks like a queen - it is so elegant and luxurious. Indeed, a well-executed outfit can make its owner delightfully charming, downright charming.

Options for outfits for the granddaughter of Santa Claus

There are several types of Snow Maiden robes. These are the options:

  • Snow Maiden costume made of a long, floor-length fur coat with a hat and fur trim;
  • a short sexy fur coat with a hat or kokoshnik trimmed with fur;
  • floor-length dress with lace inserts, transparent sleeves and kokoshnik.

Features of the Snow Maiden's masquerade attire

The main elements in this outfit are sparkles, rhinestones, fur, and lace. Often the Snow Maiden costume includes:

  • high collars trimmed with beads, beads, pearls, rhinestones and lace;
  • capes with fur trim;
  • mittens with embroidery and fur;
  • couplings;
  • transparent raincoats or long capes (for dresses).

Cape for outfit

By the way, the ability to sew this little thing will be useful not only for making New Year's costume Snow Maidens. A winter and demi-season coat with a cape looks great. And some styles of dresses suggest this detail, either made separately or sewn into the outfit.

There are several options for sewing a cape. It can be done:

  • circular “sun”, with a slit in the front and neckline;
  • “half sun”, from a circle with a cut out segment;
  • with oblique shoulder seams;
  • completely repeating the shape of the shoulders with arms down.

Drapes are made from various materials. Lace, transparent materials, knitwear, fur, and the main fabric of the outfit are used for sewing. When making a Snow Maiden costume for a girl, it is best to use a cape pattern with oblique shoulder seams. It is recommended to sew it from fur coat fabric and trim it with fur.

Pattern for a cape

If you wish, you can make a simply luxurious Snow Maiden costume with your own hands. The photo shows how great the little girl looks in this elegant outfit. Probably, the drape plays a huge role in the attire - a retro accessory that came to us from the past.

Making a pattern with beveled shoulder seams is quite simple if you carefully examine the drawing. You need to make two patterns: for the front and the back.

The back half is cut out by folding the fabric in half and placing the pattern with the vertical side to the fold of the material. The front consists of two parts. It is slightly wider than the back, as it allows a few centimeters for the design of the fastener or hem. You should also remember that the front is always a little wider than the back of the robe.

Sewing gloves for the Snow Maiden's outfit

Everyone remembers that, although it is warm inside the festive room, it is winter outside. And the granddaughter of Santa Claus herself came to us from the northern city. Therefore, the Snow Maiden’s New Year’s costume is unthinkable without such an attribute as mittens.

Making a pattern for mittens is easy. You just need to place your palm with folded fingers on the paper and trace it along the contour. When cutting, you should remember about the seams and that the palm was outlined without taking into account the volume of the hand. Therefore, you need to make about two centimeters allowances along the entire contour.

Four parts are cut out. Two parts are cut “out”, and a couple are cut inside out. Sew the mittens by folding the patterns with the right sides facing inward. Then the blanks are turned inside out and trimmed with fur.

Making a hat for the Snow Maiden and Father Frost

The hats of both characters are sewn identically. The base of the cap is made of four “irons” - this is how tailors jokingly call the type of this pattern. And it really does resemble the sole of an ironing tool.

The “iron” pattern is prepared according to the drawing, where the lower base of the part is equal to a quarter of the volume of the head. The height of the figure is equal to half the size of the head, taken between the middles of the ears through the crown.

In addition to the base of the cap, you need to prepare a lapel - a strip for the trim of any width and length equal to the volume of the head. You can take a measurement of head volume by measuring the circumference of the head through the middle of the ears with a centimeter.

Wide sleeves in the Snow Maiden outfit

Airiness and a certain ephemerality are given to this character by flying flowing fabrics and the lush cut of the robe. For example, the Snow Maiden costume, the photo of which is presented here, has luxurious wide sleeves with a wavy edge trimmed with fur. This creates a fabulous effect - as if a huge strange bird flew to a holiday from a childhood fairy tale.

These sleeves are not that difficult to cut. It is enough to take a pattern of a regular sleeve and spread the seam lines to the sides as far as the width of the fabric allows. You can also cut out any edge line. Only hemming an uneven sleeve will now be more difficult to do than is done with a regular cut. You will need to use either hem or bias tape.

Fitted fur coat, floor length

This is the most common Snow Maiden costume. The photo shows how elegant this character looks in an outfit that highlights the charm of a woman's figure.

Such a fur coat is usually sewn from satin fabric. Lining silk will also work. The color of the material is best to choose either white or blue. Although other shades of blue would be quite appropriate here.

The pattern for the Snow Maiden's costume is based on the principle of a fitted long robe dress. You can also use clothes from your wardrobe that have been lying around unclaimed for a long time. You will need to remove the parts template from it. Most often, dressmakers simply rip open the old outfit at the seams, smooth out the details with an iron - and here are the ready-made patterns for the outfit.

Short fur coat, straight silhouette (cut)

You can make a Snow Maiden costume for a girl without ripping out old dresses. In order to cut a short straight fur coat, you should create a simple pattern. This option is suitable for those who need to make a Snow Maiden costume with their own hands in an extremely short time.

Of course, it is better for novice craftsmen to try to draw patterns on paper, then cut a thing from old sheets, which they decided to use on rags, sweep and try on - check the correctness of the pattern. But experienced tailors can cut directly onto the fabric.

Draw a rectangle with dry soap or chalk. Its length should be equal to twice the length of the product, since the shoulder seams will not be sewn down. The transverse fold line of the pattern will serve as their role.

The width of the rectangle should be equal to the width of the fur coat. The front piece will need to be cut in half lengthwise just to the center point (where the diagonals intersect). This is where the neckline is made. It is deeper in the front than in the back.

The sleeves are also shaped like rectangles. The fold of the fabric runs lengthwise.

Short fur coat, straight silhouette (tailoring)

It is recommended to first sew the cut, but not stitched, sleeves to the main rectangle. The blank will resemble a cross or a helicopter (without the tail). After this, you can sew the side seams of the fur coat together with the seams in the sleeves. The finishing is done either with fur or white fleecy fabric. Sometimes it is also made from satin. You can use pompoms, tinsel, large fabric-covered buttons, a sash or a wide belt.

Sun-flare fur coat with round yoke

You can quickly sew such a Snow Maiden costume with your own hands. The photo demonstrates how elegant, elegant and even luxurious it can turn out.

For the yoke, cut out a circle with a radius equal to the height of the chest. The front yoke has a slit. In the center you need to make a neck of any size.

The lower part is also cut in the shape of a circle. Its radius is equal to the length of the product minus the radius of the yoke. In the middle of the pattern there is a concentric circle, the circumference of which is equal to the girth of the body in the place where the yoke will be connected to the bottom of the outfit. You can calculate the radius of the inner circle using the formula: half the length of the body circumference divided by 3.14.

The yoke is trimmed with fur and embroidered. The skirt (lower part) is sewn from below to the yoke so that the upper part overlaps.

Not a flat hem, but a curly one, looks very beautiful. Fluffy pom-poms made of fur sewn to the bottom of the robe look simply gorgeous.

The sleeves of this outfit can be of any style, at the request of the master.

Kokoshnik for the Snow Maiden

You can replace the hat with a beautiful kokoshnik. It is manufactured by the most different materials. The simplest ones are made from cardboard and decorated with glitter, tinsel, cotton wool, foil figures, and beads.

You can make a kokoshnik frame from wire, stretch white or blue lace over it and embroider it with silver threads, beads, and tinsel. Nylon, chiffon or other transparent fabric would be appropriate here.

In order not to deny yourself the pleasure of becoming part of New Year's miracle, pay attention to how easy, quick and inexpensive it is to sew an outfit. It can be made from available materials.

We will share with you several options for a New Year's costume.

Traditionally, let's start with the economical method. No matter how complicated the process of making a costume may seem, it is actually very simple. Stock up on the following preparatory materials. And this:

  1. curtain, curtain or napkin with lace,
  2. regular bandage
  3. bright decorative elements (snowflakes, rhinestones, buttons, rain showers, Christmas tree tinsel),
  4. fur or pieces of padding polyester,
  5. glue,
  6. stapler,
  7. needle,
  8. scissors,
  9. threads,
  10. sewing machine,
  11. dye,
  12. cardboard,
  13. old wallpaper or remnants of a roll.

To sew your own Snow Maiden costume, you will need to purchase some parts. In ours you can, and.

We need to make a pattern for the suit.. Let's look at an example for a girl. The same can be sewn for an adult woman, taking into account the proportions and height.

To make the job as easy as possible, take an old nightgown, tank top or T-shirt. Trace it and attach it to the paper. Draw the desired length, taking into account your height and your wishes. The suit can be either knee-length or ankle-length.

The neckline, neckline and volume can also be sewn in free form. When you cut the fabric, be sure to leave 1.5 - 2.5 cm for seam allowances. Connect all parts of the pattern using a machine, leaving the neckline and sleeves unstitched. Here you have several options.

If you want to sew sleeves onto your outfit, you need to cut them out separately and carefully connect them to the entire dress. Sew fur onto the dress, if desired. It can be either natural, from an old fur coat, or light, artificial.

Failing this, carefully line the bottom of the dress with padding polyester. The same can be done with the neckline and sleeves. Decorate the hem with snowflakes, tinsel, and sequins. Sew the buttons in the center, as on a regular robe.

With us at a reasonable price you can: padding polyester or holofiber. And also different forms. You can choose New Year's themed buttons. The prices are favorable for everyone. The wait for delivery is only 1 day, maximum - 2. The goods are sent immediately on the day of payment. Over the phone, our call center operator will answer all your questions and give professional advice on our products.

Note. Use natural fabric in blue, light blue, red or green. It is believed that the Snow Maiden's costume should be made in shades of blue. But since the style and appearance depend on your imagination, experiment. Sew snowflakes and decorations onto your outfit. Openwork napkins or parts of tulle can be carefully cut out and given the shape of snowflakes. Choose shoes according to your appearance. It is better to buy white boots. Wearing white tights and mittens, your Snow Maiden will become a real winter beauty.

We present to your attention a more complex option.

It is intended for both adults and children. Be sure to take measurements before sewing. Consider the parameters and growth of the future Snow Maiden. Also pay attention to the style of the outfit. Some dresses go great with a belt, while others are best worn loose, like a tunic. It all depends on personal preferences.

First of all, prepare your pattern. Choose any option you like. Take your measurements. Now prepare 180-210 cm of fabric. The color should be cream, white, beige, soft blue, pink. Note. The fabric should be dense. It can be satin, cotton, muslin and even terry. Take measurements of your waist, chest, hips. Decide on the required length.

Iron the fabric before sewing. It should be even and smooth. When you cut the fabric, leave 1.5 to 5 centimeters for the seam allowance. Connect the parts of the outfit. Also keep in mind that if the dress is not a free cut, but fitted, at the waist level you need to make allowances of 4-6 cm. This will make it more comfortable to bend over and move in the dress.

We have repeatedly talked about how important overlock is. The seams made with its help will turn out without gaps and even. It is preferable to make the sleeves loose. They will be an additional decoration of the outfit. Movements with their help will be smooth.

The headdress can be an ordinary hat of blue, light blue or milky color. If possible, sew it yourself. Don't forget that the bottom of the dress, the hat and the end of the sleeves need to be lined with fur. This will help highlight the outline. If this is not possible, the edging can be made from fabric of a different color. Organza, ruffles and lace will also look beautiful.

To decorate the dress, use sequins, beads, raindrops, and gold or silver buttons.

The Snow Maiden costume is a little more difficult to sew for real needlewomen. You need to design the outfit yourself. As a last resort, find the desired pattern on the Internet or magazines. You only need to cut the fabric on a perfectly flat surface. It should be smooth, so we recommend ironing it. Fold it in half, right side inward. Be sure to leave room for allowances. From 1.5 to 2.5 cm is enough. Again, for a New Year's outfit it is better to sew suits with sleeves in the shape of lanterns. You rarely see them in everyday life, but they will help emphasize the significance of the holiday and an authentic, traditional outfit.

When you prepare the sleeve pattern, when tracing the outline from the center to the end, gradually expand the lines. This way the flashlight will take a smooth, regular shape.

The same goes for the hem. Give free rein to your imagination. It can be with frills, ruffles; flared, fitted. Length – up to and below the knees. Consider your body shape.

Also decide how exactly the dress should be fastened. These can be hooks, full-back zippers or small, standard ones. Often dresses are made without fasteners at all, with a large neckline. Attach the clasp where it is most convenient - on the side, on the back, on the chest, etc.

All parts of the fabric need to be marked, starting from the top and moving towards the center of the outfit. To make sure the seams are correct, iron the reliefs. When you start connecting the parts of the sleeves, neckline and collar, use pins. This way you can determine how symmetrical the parts are and fix them before sewing. Try it on carefully again. Check if it is comfortable to move. If necessary, deepen the armholes a little.

After all the parts and pieces are connected, and the outfit itself fits perfectly, proceed to the decoration. Attach decorative elements, lace, sequins. Make a fur pattern to make the dress winter and elegant. The fur edging can be from 4 to 10 cm wide. The length should match the bottom of the sleeves and dress. Attach the fur to the outfit.

Now the outfit is ready. You will be able to amaze others with your beauty elegant dress and become a real fairy-tale Snow Maiden! And a homemade outfit will delight you and your loved ones for many years to come.

New Year's costume pattern - construction

Draw a rectangle ABCD. The length of the suit is the line of the rectangle AD=BC=65 cm (length of the coat as measured).

The width of the suit - the lines of the rectangle AB and DC are equal to 40 cm (half chest circumference according to measurement plus 8 cm for all sizes): 32+8=40 cm.

Armhole depth: From point A down, set aside 16.7 cm – point D (1/3 half chest circumference according to measurement plus 6 cm for all sizes): 32/3+6=16.7 cm. From point D to the right, draw a straight line to intersection with line BC – intersection point G1.

Waist line: From point A down, set aside 28 cm (the length of the back to the waist as measured) - point T. From point T to the right, draw a straight line until it intersects with line BC, the point of intersection is T1.

Back width: GG1 divided in half - point G4. To the right and left of point G4, set aside 1/2 of the width of the armhole - put points G2 and G3. The width of the armhole is calculated by the formula: 1/4 of the half-circumference of the chest according to the measurement plus 2 cm for all sizes 32/4+2=10 cm. From points G2 and G3 upward, draw straight lines until they intersect with line AB - points P and P1.

Raising the shelf: From points B and P1, extend the lines upward by 2 cm, place points P2 and P3. Connect points P2 and P3.

Side line: From point G4, draw a straight line down until it intersects with the DC line. The intersection point is the letter N. The intersection with line TT1 is designated by the letter T2.

Auxiliary lines of the shoulder and armhole: Divide line PG2 in half, divide P1G3 into 3 equal parts.

Building a back pattern

Neckline: From point A to the right set aside 5.2 cm (1/3 of the half-circumference of the neck according to the measurement plus 0.5 cm for all sizes): 14/3 + 0.5 = 5.2 cm. From point 5.2 up set aside 1.5 cm. Connect points A and 1.5 with a concave line.

Shoulder slope: Set aside 1.5 cm from point P downwards. From point 1.5 (neck) through point 1.5 (shoulder slope) draw a shoulder line 11 cm long (shoulder length according to measurement plus 1 cm for all sizes): 10 +1=11 cm.

Armhole line: From point G2, dividing the angle in half, set aside 2.5 cm. Draw the armhole line from point 11 through the midpoint of dividing line PG2, point 2.5, to point G4.

Side seam: From point T2 to the right, set aside 2 cm. Draw the side seam line from point G4, 2, to the intersection with line DC, set aside upwards, set aside 1 cm - point H1.

Advice! If you want to flare this gorgeous suit even more, move 3 cm to the right from point T2.

Constructing a front pattern

Neckline: From point W to the left and down, set aside 5.7 cm (1/3 of the half-circumference of the neck by measurement plus 1 cm for all sizes): 14/3+1=5.7 cm. Connect points 5.7 with a concave line.

Shoulder tilt: Set aside 3 cm from point P2 downwards.

Shoulder line: Connect points 5,7 and 3. Then from point 5.7 to the left along the intended line, set aside 10 cm (shoulder length as measured).

Armhole line: From point G3, dividing the angle in half, set aside 2 cm. Draw the armhole line from point 10, the lower division point P1G3, point 2 and, touching the line GG1 to point G4.

Side seam: Set aside 2 cm from point T2 to the left. Draw the side seam line from point G4 and 2 to the intersection with line DC. From the point of intersection with the DC line, set aside 1 cm upward - point H2.

Bottom line: From point C, line BC is extended downward by 2 cm - point H3. Connect points H4 and H2.

Increase for fastener (side). From the line of the middle front of the pattern, set aside 2 cm to the right and left. Draw a strip for the fastener 4 cm wide. Add an increase to the right to process the strip 4 cm wide (one-piece).

Front and back yoke. On the front and back of the pattern, draw yokes as shown in Fig. 1. Cut the yokes and cut them out of white fur.

Sleeve pattern

Additionally, it is necessary to build a New Year's costume for the girl.

Model the sleeve as shown in Fig. 2. Flare the sleeve at the bottom. Cut a strip about 5 cm wide along the bottom of the sleeve and cut it out of white fur.

Collar pattern

Create a collar pattern as shown in drawing Fig. 3.

We are building a collar pattern - draw a rectangle ABCD. Collar length - rectangle lines AD and DC are equal to 19 cm (half neck circumference according to measurement plus 5 cm for all sizes): 14+5=19 cm.

The width of the collar - rectangle lines AD and DC are equal to 11 cm. Fold line: From point D up, set aside 7 cm. Collar stitching line: From point B to the left, set aside 4 cm. Connect points 4 and 7 with a dotted line, divide the line in half and down from the division point set aside 1 cm. Draw the stitching line through points 7, 1, 4.

Departure line: Set aside 6 cm from point B downwards. Connect points 4 and 6.

Bottom line of the collar: Connect points D and 6 according to the pattern. Round the corner of the collar according to the pattern.

New Year's costume for a girl - hat pattern

Wrap a measuring tape around the child's head and take a head circumference measurement - about 54 cm.

Construct the hat pattern as shown in Fig. 4. The hat consists of 4 wedges and is trimmed at the bottom with white fur.

IMPORTANT! Before cutting a fur hat, cut out all 4 wedges with allowances from tracing paper, fasten them with threads and try them on the child. If the height and volume of the hat are right, feel free to cut it! Make changes if necessary.

Coupling pattern

The coupling pattern is a rectangle. In order to measure the length and width of the rectangle, ask the girl to fold her arms so that only her fingers overlap each other. Measure the length of the handles from wrist to wrist (muff length). Wrap the measuring tape around your hands so that it fits loosely around your arms—the width of the sleeve. Cut out 2 identical rectangles - double muff, fur inside and outside.
